Olatunde Osinaike Joins Alice James Books with Second Collection, Image + Likeness

Alice James Books will publish Image + Likeness in August 2027.

On Image + Likeness, Alice James Executive Director and Publisher Carey Salerno says: “Characterized by crisp language, fluid syntax, and brisk beats, these poems contemplated what is quantifiable, the tangibility of intangibility. Sonically eloquent and emotionally intimate poems open up possibilities, beginnings, and celebrate what's rooted in and fueled by love. "I am meant for more, not for none," writes Osinaike. His poems consider masculinity and its constructs as well as the importance of emotion, interior landscape, and individuality in relation to the visible, physical world: what are our thoughts but distractions or dreams that attempt to make reality more fanciful or worthy? As well, calligrams abound!”
