Weekends at AJB: A Virtual Masterclass & Generative Workshop
with Shara McCallum & Brian Turner

Shara McCallum, author of Madwoman, and Brian Turner, author of Here, Bullet—two of Alice James Books’ most celebrated poets—lead this day of writing, readings, and conversation.

No advance reading, writing, or other preparation is required to participate in this gathering of poets; just bring your favourite writing implements and an open spirit.

Throughout the day, participants will create new work, with opportunities to share what they’ve written, engage closely with one another’s poems, and explore questions of craft and process in a small, focused setting. As a bonus, an optional conversation with Carey Salerno is made available to all participants at the end of the day.
