Anna Maria Hong is the author of six books including two previous poetry collections, Age of Glass (Cleveland State University Poetry Center), winner of the Poetry Society of America’s Norma Farber First Book Award, and Fablesque (Tupelo Press), winner of the Berkshire Prize, and the novella H & G (Sidebrow Books), winner of the A Room of Her Own Foundation’s Clarissa Dalloway Prize. Her writings appear in The Nation, Harvard Review, Colorado Review, Massachusetts Review, Poem-a-Day, Poetry Daily, The Best American Poetry, and elsewhere. A recipient of fellowships from the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, the Amy Clampitt Poet Residency, and the Marion and Jasper Whiting Foundation, she is an Associate Professor at Mount Holyoke College. https://www.annamariahong.net

The author of ten collections of poems, essays, and translations, Lia Purpura is the recipient of Guggenheim, NEA, and Fulbright Fellowships as well as five Pushcart prizes. Her collection of essays, On Looking, was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. Her poems and essays appear in The New Yorker, The New Republic, Poetry, Orion, The Paris Review, The Georgia Review, Agni, Emergence, and elsewhere. She lives in Baltimore, MD.

Born in Maine, Jacques J. Rancourt is the author of Brocken Spectre (Alice James Books) and Novena (Pleiades Press). He has published poems in journals such as AGNI, Boston Review, Kenyon Review, New Republic, Poetry Magazine, and elsewhere. A recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and a Wallace Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University, he lives and teaches in San Francisco.

Jill McDonough's seventh book of poems, What You Wanted, is forthcoming from Alice James. She is the author of American Treasure (Alice James, 2022), Here All Night (Alice James, 2019), Reaper (Alice James, 2017), Where You Live (Salt, 2012), Oh, James! (Seven Kitchens, 2012), and Habeas Corpus (Salt, 2008). The recipient of three Pushcart prizes and fellowships from the Lannan Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Fine Arts Work Center, the New York Public Library, the Library of Congress, and Stanford’s Stegner program, she taught incarcerated college students through Boston University’s Prison Education Program for thirteen years. Her work has appeared in Poetry, Slate, The Nation,The Threepenny Review, and Best American Poetry. She directs the MFA program at UMass-Boston, started a program offering College Reading and Writing in two Boston jails, and is a visiting writer at a juvenile correctional facility.
