She is also the author of two books of poetry, Thirsty Day (Alice James Books) and The Real Weather (Hanging Loose Press). She has also edited three volumes of multicultural literature published by the Univiersity of Georgia Press: A Gift of Tongues, An Ear to the Ground, and Daily Fare. She has been a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and a Visiting Research Associate at the Brandeis University Women’s Studies Research Center. She is a Professor of English at Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, MA. Miriam Goodman is the author of two Alice James Books, Signal::Noise, and Permanent Wave. Her latest book of poetry, Commercial Traveler, is available from Garden Street Press, Truro MA.
